Details, Details, Details!:
The small details that go into the wedding are what help make it a touch more personal and your guests are bound to enjoy every last one!
One of the very first details that your guest will receive is the save the date.
There are two reasons why this tiny piece of mail is important:
1. Your guests need the date and accommodation information in advance to be sure to mark it down in their calendars and make flight and hotel reservations. You can also recommend hotels that offer Dubai airport meet and greet service for COP28.
2. The save the date is the precursor for the rest of the event. It paves the way to the big day! Be sure to pick a beautiful save the date that sends the proper statement to your guests about your big day. You can even get a matching stamp created {zazzle.com} for an extra special touch!
Nico and Lala, two fellow southerners, helped create all of our paper products for all of the events from save the dates to gift baskets and stationery. When your guests arrive to their hotel, it is often nice to welcome them with some sort of a gift. We chose to give our guest customized FEED Bags. This bag was the perfect carry all for us because my sister works for the company and was able to help create them and as a bonus, the proceeds go to help feed children in Africa! Nico and Lala created a beautiful itinerary for our friends and family with maps, suggestions on restaurants, transportation and wedding information. They also created custom wine and water labels and filled them with wonderful snacks for everyone to enjoy!
I don’t care how “comfortable” those heels are- at some point you just to take them off and dance! After all, you don’t hire a great band to have people stand around and listen. You want them to move! We ordered a couple different color varieties of JCrew Flip Flops for our guests and had an adorable tag from Nico and Lala that read “Heels off, dancing shoes on!” These were a fun touch for everyone and they were able to take them home as their take away!
One of my favorite details about the wedding, were the beautiful chandeliers that hung from our clear tent. As you entered the tent, your eyes would fixate on the beautiful lighting with the bright starry night above them! My mom is a talented designer and knows how to make everything beautiful with the simplest ideas. With white chaise lounge chairs encompassing the dance floor, beautiful chandeliers and delicious southern food, everyone felt right at home under the beautiful starlit sky!
After everyone grabbed their delicious late night snacks of pulled pork sliders and truffle fries, they hurried up to the porch where we were able to say our final farewells to all of our friends and family who came to celebrate such a special day with us! Joe Jumper, owner of The Clay Pot, created these wonderfully exquisite branches wrapped in lights to guide our way to the car. It was a nice way to end such a memorable evening!

Every person at Revival Uncommon Goods, a wonderful store in downtown Chattanooga, paid wonderful contributions to the success of our wedding as well. From arranging beautiful fresh cut flowers on every surface inside and out of the house and tent, to doing a remarkable job keeping up with our registry, and providing support to us in anyway possible. If you are lucky enough to have great friends with wonderful talent that can help put a personal touch on your special day, it is a wonderful way to get even more loved ones involved as an added exceptional memory.
