The Colors Of An Artist’s Wind

Eclectic art. Innovative fashion. Remarkable strokes of talent. All three are individually jaw-dropping. But when you take the colors from each of these inspiring winds, combine them and exude the highest form of talent, you get NYC based artist, Juliana Lazzaro. Hola!

Jamie is flaunting mini leather shorts that showcase the electric colors of metallic. I love how the sunlight hit them perfectly!

When I first met this creative yet totally inspiring artist a few years ago at her exhibition at Tesla, NYC, I knew she was one to watch. And after having the opportunity last year to go behind the scenes + sit in on a photo shoot capturing the art of fashion, our team decided it was a must to see what Juliana has been recently been up to!

hola

Jenna graciously showed off how Juliana took an off white 1970’s vintage boho maxi linen dress and transformed it with metallic paint and glitter.

Little did I know, Juliana is not only on 1stdibs these days and painting more fluidly than ever, but she is continuously taking her artistic talent to a new level. How? Oh darling. Juliana will face any challenge, paint on any surface, and show her fans that she seriously can paint her metallic hands onto anything. Literally.

So when she told me about two new pieces she had just completed, I grinned and immediately responded, “how does a rooftop photo shoot sound to you on Sunday night?” And after seeing the dress and shorts for the first time + going gaga for them both, I started clicking two of my best friends away. Amidst the sunset, of course.

As reflected within Juliana’s pieces of art, it’s all in the details. Plus, she continuously  raises the bar higher than any artist, transforming her existing canvases onto any fashionable surface. Oh, how I love the colors of an artist’s wind! Happy Weekend, y’all. B+H
