Today from 11am-7pm, Uber is rolling onto the streets in ice cream trucks with the sole purpose of getting you icecreamified. Grab your napkins!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.
Ice cream trucks will be available from 11am-7pm and visible by choosing the ‘ice cream cone’ in your Uber app.
Uber has partnered with Van Leeuwen and CoolHaus to bring you your cold treats. This ain’t no Mister Softee.
Each request is $12 and covers ice cream for five people as well as other Uber goodies while supplies last! You will be able to add additional people to your order for $3 per person.
In case you’ve never met your friendly neighborhood Uber team member, there will be one riding with every truck!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You can request ice cream by selecting the ‘ice cream cone icon’ in your Uber app.
Set your location and request like normal.
Round up all your friends and get them outside. Better yet, get them all to download Uber beforehand and make them request using the $10 credit they’ll receive after you invite them to Uber.
An Uber employee and the ice cream truck will be there in minutes to deliver ice cream.
We’ll bill your card on file $12 for each order.
