#GuacSwag via Minted strategically placed? Check! K-J AVANT wine perfectly chilled and ready to be poured? Check, check! Dress zipped up and bouffant teased to the high heavens? Oh yes, hunny! The GUAC-OFF was officially in action and ready to rumba! Hola.
And since the guest list doubled for this year’s event, it was a must to be ultra organized with the guests arriving in herds. Bonjour + Hola’s intern was standing ready to go + grab each guest’s guac after receiving their GUAC-OFF Number! Details at it’s finest.
Well thanks to the amazing decor provided by Minted, there was absolutely no chaos or traffic when the señors + señoritas pranced in with their homemade guacs and ready to win faces! The Bonjour + Hola team even printed out a numbered list to make it easy for each guest to sign in, take their GUAC-OFF Number and hand their guac to one of us who proceeded to take it downstairs to the Guac Tasting Table. Ole!
One of my favorite details I love to include at Bonjour + Hola events is our large sign for guests to stand in front of for their arrival cameo moments. GUAC-OFF carpet anyone? Hola!
Besides the pouring down hurricane outside, Bonjour + Hola’s GUAC-OFF of an evening was absolutely perfect thanks to Kendall-Jackson’s AVANT flowing in each of the guests’ glasses. Can we say crowd pleaser?! It went beyond perfect with all of the various guac flavors too!
Plus, the Minted cards went totally fiesta chic on the wine stems so each guest didn’t get confused on which poison was their own!
If you’ve been following Bonjour + Hola events for a bit, there’s one thing you know that will no doubt be present: shots, shots, shots. Our guests are all about taking back those bad boys just about every thirty minutes! Whether it’s bourbon or tequila, they’re always down for an hola moment. #living
These straws were such a hit! Plus, I was all about them since I could actually get GUAC-OFF involved without messing up my makeup, hehe.

Bourbon me tender, bourbon me true!
Our fabulous bartenders absolutely killed it and made each guests’ #living experience oh, so memorable! Or not…
Once the guests arrived, it was obviously a must to capture their fabulous entrance via the GUAC-OFF Carpet! Hola.
Oh, we were just getting started right here. #lettheguacgamesbegin
After all of the señors + señoritas had their GUAC-OFF Numbers and were sipping AVANT night away, I rang the maracas and asked for them to proceed downstairs to the Guac Tasting Table! And I have to admit, I’ve never seen the herd run so quick, ole! Luckily, all of the guacs were already placed in a numberly fashion so each voter could easily grab their popchips and start their tasting!
And while I was setting up, I thought it would be totally Guac style to place some of the popchips in sombreros as a table centerpiece before the guacs were surrounding them. Hola details!
These bad boys were such a hit. Not to mention popchip’s new tortilla chips!
But how could we not have tequila during a fiesta? Baron was the perfect GUAC-OFF solution for each guest to really ole into the evening.
And umm…how gorgeous are Baron Tequila’s shot glasses and bottles? They fit perfectly into the scene!

Tasting. Voting. Oh, who will the winner be this year!
After the guests went around the table and tested the guacs away into the wee hours, I asked them to take a piece of paper and write down the one number they thought was the best guac!
Between the decor, the K-J AVANT wine, the amazing guacs and a night of simply #living, this year’s GUAC-OFF was one not to forget! Best part? The winner will be announced on Kendall-Jackson’s blog this evening {with the star recipe!}. Stay tuned, y’all! #GuacOff
