Actually, I did just that earlier this week at Casa Blanca to get friends excited about the all things red + pink holiday! And I have to admit…the twelve of us had SO much fun around that table! So much that I decided to throw another dinner party for twelve the following night so friends who couldn’t attend the first weren’t left out. Bonjour! But let me back up here on all the planning…
After picking out the rose petals to the savory essentials earlier this week, it was time to focus on how to elevate the scene. Between selecting the decor, food, music and obviously the lighting {candles galore!} to enhance any sparks flying across the table, this cinderella was all set for the ball. All I had to do was throw on an outfit to not take away from the scenery! My favorites from both evenings?
Valentine’s Day Dinner:
When the guests arrive…
champagne bar with strawberries
assorted cheeses, olives, figs + crackers plate
When the guests sit down…
mozzarella + tomatoes mixed with fig balsamic vinaigrette + olive oil
penne a la “lover” pasta {hehe}
cedar wrapped salmon with squash + onions
local green beans + edamame mixed with a little salt + pepper
In between plates, of course…

Best part? My go-to for all things sweet brand, Studmuffin Desserts, was kind enough to supply our last course! Not only was the creative, yet totally theme-perfect name a HUGE hit with my guests, but every bite was delicious beyond words! My favorites are their Jackie O’s and Space-Cakes! #gimmegimme
