This fall will mark Glenda Bailey’s tenth anniversary as editor-in-chief at Harper’s Bazaar. So exciting! With the occasion approaching, it was appropriate for her to create a large coffee-table book filled with her favorite shoots from the last decade. I was thrilled to attend an intimate cocktail party this week honoring the debut Harper’s Bazaar:

I recently read in the New York Times an article called “9/11 in the Arts: An Anniversary Guide.” It’s the most comprehensive list of events I’ve seen related to the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. With September 11th being this Sunday, I couldn’t think of a more appropriate post for B+H’s Top Weekend Pick.

I love to travel in style. But, for some reason every time I check-in at the airport, I’ve remembered everything on my to-do list for getting out of town {manipedi, makeup essentials, The Economist from the newsstand, etc} except to buy new luggage tags…this Southern Belle always ends up having to use those temporary {and

Like anyone else who lives amongst the hustle and bustle of New York City, it is understandable as to why escaping for a few days to breath is essential. My recent escape was to East Hampton where I was spoiled to be around amazing friends, my favorite ice cream from Scoop du Jour, perfectly bloomed

So many essentials to carry with you, but you don’t want to be loaded down? I consistently had this issue, until I sat next to a very nice couple one day for lunch at The Standard bar. They both plopped down these clever iPhone cases on the counter, facing down, and the sleekness immediately caught

A little over five years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the finest girls I know while interning at Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Her name is Christina Pryor, and she is such a gem who brings out the best qualities in everyone she meets. Recently, she took a fabulous trip to Istanbul, Turkey

When my younger brother, Worth, called and said “Hey! I’m thinking about coming to visit you in New York this weekend. Is that cool?” Of course, I said….YES! I have barely seen Worth this past year with him studying abroad in Africa and this was a perfect weekend for me to host him. My excitement

When summer hits New York, it’s finally time for people to step out of their caves and flock the streets with cute flirty dresses. Along with flaunting their newest haircuts and tans {hopefully from self-tanner!} are the newest fashions in their closet. The Young Members Party at The Met The best place to see New

Whether it’s time to hop on a flight or train to stay with friend on Nantucket or the Hamptons, you always need to travel mannerly. If you’re a frequent flyer, you might also want to check

The Hamptons. A New Yorker’s staple for escaping the city on summer weekends. But, who says you have to go for the entire weekend? Why can’t you just escape for the day? Oh yes, you heard me correctly… Luckily, my friend Tom was recently visiting the city, and shares similar spontaneous qualities as I do…he
