A Bubbles + Burgers Birthday

When I was brainstorming various ideas of how to celebrate the big 2-6, I decided it would be totally fun + different to host my friends in Central Park for a sunset picnic. Hola! But as the date grew closer and the weather.com reports appeared to not be in my favor, I decided last minute to move the picnic indoors to my place, Casa Blanca! And oh, it was such a fabulous soirée…filled with all things I love, of course!

Between the vanilla + chocolate layered cake + assorted cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery, Shake Shack catering, and bourbon shots from actual syringes, this Birthday Señorita was in total heaven!

But how can you have a birthday party without a little customization? Obviously cups labeled with my monogram were present. Why not? Bonjour!

I was originally going to bring this fabulous picnic bag gifted from my parents to Sheep Meadow in Central Park, but with the location moved inside I decided it would be the perfect table centerpiece…surrounded by my favorite: Shackburgers.

shake shack catering is the way to go y’all! {not pictured: hamburgers, hot dogs + chicken dogs}

mole guac, mild salsa + hummus galore

And although this isn’t the loveliest I’ve photo ever taken, the fries + cheese fries were a huge hit with the guests!

melted cheese was placed in little ramekins for guests to drizzle the amount desired

As an accent to the Shake Shack fun, I thought it would be totally chic to pop on in a Popcorn Bar with assorted Garrett’s popcorn {caramel, butter, cheese…olé!}.

originally i envisioned the popcorn to be featured in champagne + wine glasses, but settled with large pasta bowls for the guests to pick at all night!

My favorite part of the evening {besides being with such amazing friends}? That would be shooting bourbon shots out of these babies into the mouths of Casa Blanca guests. And although my aim wasn’t perfect {I totally owe my friend a Dry Cleaning gift certificate for spraying his shirt}, I’d say I didn’t do half bad in the process!

All in all, the evening was magical and such a blast. Climax of the party? I placed a sign behind a bucket of bubbles that read “Blow Liz A Kiss When She Makes A Wish!” so when the flaming candles on my cake came out the guests could participate in the fun as well! Loved the photo opp…

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Francois Payard and his team were gracious enough to offer 15% off to Bonjour + Hola readers when they buy 24 Payard macarons. These little bites of heaven are the perfect gift, afternoon munch or just the perfect accent with a glass of bubbly. So now until Friday take advantage while the offer lasts! Hope you all are having a wonderful week and thank you again for the sweet Birthday wishes! B+H
