After totally having a “I want to look like her” moment when I saw Carrie Underwood step onto the red carpet at this year’s Grammys, it was a must I found out not only who her makeup artist was, but what colors she was using on her lips. Hola.
While recently visiting Nashville, I popped into Woo Skincare and Cosmetics to see one of my favorite makeup girls, Lexi Means, to help me get a new refreshed winter look. Once we dolled up my face, a voice goes “you need THE Carrie nude lip.” My mascara-ed eyes immediately brightened. I found out that not only Melissa Schleicher is Carrie’s makeup go-to artist and that one of the main brands on Carrie’s stunning face is (Plā) Beauty, but that Melissa loves to plop these colors on the country star’s drop dead puckers too. Oh, yes!
