Dinner dates are always just fabulous. But every once in awhile it’s nice to experience something new and exciting together. Recently, my good friend, Matt, asked me to go out to Citi Field and see a New York Mets game with him. I had never been to that stadium before, and was beyond thrilled! This was anything but an ordinary date in my book…
We got incredibly lucky with the beautiful weather that night, and hopped on an express train that took us straight to the stadium – so easy!
Citi Field was recently renovated, and now includes field view from the concessions area as well as new restaurants…including the glorious Shake Shack.
After watching a bit of the game, we decided to grab double stack burgers and fries for dinner and watch the game from a nearby table. It was SO delicious….I mean, who doesn’t love Shake Shack’s special sauce? Yum and YUM….
One of the most interesting parts for me that night was being introduced to this cool beer contraption. It literally filled up Matt’s beer from the bottom up!
This was such a fun and low-key evening, which is incredibly refreshing and new for me. I had the best time and look forward to future out of the box nights!
