Third Reso: Spa-tasticly Cheaper

Who doesn’t love to go and get pampered? Get laid up on a heated bed {it’s like you’re in a coffin to be quite honest!}, get a deep exfoliation treatment, your nails did, or my personal favorite…a blowout!

Blackberry Farm houses one of the most relaxing spas I’ve ever stepped into…and yes, it’s literally a house! Equipped with Aveda, OPI and all things divine, I decided on my first day that it would be a mother ship that I would consistently visit during my stay {it didn’t hurt that our reservation included spa gift certificates!}.

But after my dad raised concerns about how many blowouts and treatments I had mentioned that I would like to schedule during a dinner conversation {Il est mes vacances!}, I sat back and thought, “He’s right. Why am I not doing this on my own? No one knows my hair or body needs better than me!” This brings me to my third reso: spa-tasticly cheaper

Spending more money on getting pampered than clothing {literally}, this Southern Belle decided that this year was going to be drastically different {and cheaper}. Instead of hitting up DryBar for an easy blowout weekly, I decided to get a team member of theirs to show me how to do this bouffant-action at home.

What I need?:

Big rollers, Bumble & Bumble Dry Shampoo, curling iron, straightening iron, teasing comb and Moroccan Oil hairspray!

Gang’s all here! Readers, I’ve learned how to perfect my “higher the hair, closer to heaven” look…at home! Those who know me well know what a revolution this little action has on my lifestyle!

Best part? This ‘do only took me 25 minutes to complete in comparison to the hour I spend at the salon. Less time and cheaper? Bonjour!

But wait, what about that exfoliation treatment I loved at Blackberry Farm? I found these awesome La Savonnerie exfoliating salts to toss into my bubble bath twice a week to keep my skin super smooth…along with this yummy Bliss Sugar Scrub! Bringin’ the spa to my pad.

It’s fun. It’s different. It’s spa-tasticly cheaper!
