I always have the best time when my parents come to visit! Why? Catching up {sans iChat!}, dining out at fun restaurants, catching a broadway show {fyi…run don’t walk to see Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Death of a Salesman} and of course, shopping ’bout town! But when my momma suggested we go check out this place called Eccoci Limited Editions for Her in the bottom floor of an office building in Midtown {423 W. 55th Street between 9th & 10th}…well, let’s just say I was a tad bit hesitant!
Imagining this “mark down prize” to be filled with cheap quality clothes, dirt “errrwhere” and lasses changing about with no dressing rooms in sight, I was not diggin’ this journey. Until I entered! The moment I walked into this clean, well-stocked showroom with heavily-discounted beautifully tailored clothing, I felt totally at home. With my “bulldog determination” {thank you Bikram Yoga!}, I was eager to sniff out a mucho-fab deal!
Eccoci Limited Editions for Her is essentially the outlet store for three premier in-home trunk show brands….Carlisle, Etcetera and Per Se Collections. All three of them are totally high end and typically sold at trunk shows around the country by “wardrobe consultants”! But when the clothes don’t sell at the shows to a mostly over 40 set, where on earth do they go? Right here in this Midtown store y’all! With deep additional discounts on all merch…Hola!

When the world of great price and the world of great quality merge into one NYC store, you better run. And run fast! Not many people know about this gem in the city {oops!…hehe} and they instead flock to TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack or Forever 21 for a “very niceee” price. But here’s a new place to shop and a destination to add to the list when you have visitors the city! And it’s mom approved. Oh how I love depreciated yet appreciated fashion deals in this city!
