The Top Five Bespoke Chocolatiers in Zurich? Mission Accomplished.

Between seeing different parts of Zurich, meeting new friends and trying bunches of bespoke chocolate, it’s safe to safe our chocolate tour was a delectable success. Although I loved them all equally for their unique attention to detail and handmade heaven, I couldn’t help but leave out the main two chocolatiers in Zurich: Teuscher and Sprüngli. Hola.

If you’re into champagne truffles, the Teuscher shop next to Barney’s on Madison is probably one you frequent often {hopefully I’m not the only loser who goes bright ‘n early right when the shipment has come in from Switzerland!}. But having the opportunity to actually go inside their flagship store based in Zurich and meet the manager {and dance around over a chocolate sampling, of course} was a true treat. We also visited their other location in town as well, which was equally fabulous.

My Teuscher favorites?

detail fabulous

if you ever want to win this girl over…these are my absolute favorites. ever.

me + the teuscher manager…dancin’ away with champagne truffles at hand, of course!

Another well-known chocolatier in town is Sprüngli! Their store is exceptionally stunning with more of a classic touch of glam.

champagne vanilla macarons

Before I sampled a thing, I was already hola’d with this shop because they had gold macarons with the flavor titled, Champagne Vanilla. This chica was intrigued…obviously I had to dive in and splurge! Satisfaction was an understatement.

hola.

There is no intro needed to describe the presentation of this store either! Simply perfect.

i mean…

Our chocolatier hunt of Zurich was seriously one of the coolest adventures I’ve partaken in and definitely suggest going on a hunt whenever you’re there – would love to hear your favorites too! It was a true chocolate indulgence. Happy Weekend! B+H
