Crushes and Blushes

I think we are just about ready to say Bonjour + Hola to Valentine’s Day this year! Woohoo! Oh…but wait! How could I forget about finding the “in” way to wear our makeup for the big day? Off to the Saks Giorgio Armani counter we go…!

I went to my go-to makeup artist, Raffy {remember him from my first post: Big Event Night?}, at Armani to have him show us the perfect look to “face” any of our future Valentine shindigs!

He decided to pull in products from Tom Ford and MAC Cosmetics too! His picks to pull off a flawless look this year? Follow these steps:

First apply the High Precision Retouch #3, $36 onto your eyelid as a base.

Then apply the Regenessence Eye Rejuvenating Serum, $75 underneath your eyes to decrease puffiness.

Top the Serum with Crema Nera Reviving Eye Compact, $150 to create that airbrushed look.

Apply the Tom Ford Illuminating Highlight Pen in Lavender Voile, $52 on top of the Serum and Crema.

Use the High Precision Retouch #3, $36 as concealer {same as eye base}.

Swirl on Designer Lift Foundation #4, $65 {not on highlighted area above…only on the rest of your face!}.

Apply the Tom Ford Shape & Illuminate {Intensity One}, $75 to the top of cheek bones.

Add on the Fluid Sheer #11, $59 for a perfect blush.

Mix all of the colors together from the Spring 2012 Harmony Collection #1 Eye Shadow Palette, $59 and apply to entire eye {brow to lid}.

Apply both #4 and then #13 Eyes To Kill Intense Eyeshadow, $32 to eye crease.

Use the Maestro Liquid Eye Liner #1, $31 to enhance that smokey look.

Eyes To Kill Mascara in Black #1, $30

First apply the MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Engraved, $15 underneath eyes and then top it with the Smooth Silk Eye Pencil #4, $28 {double the fun!}.

Brush on MAC Cosmetics Brow Gel in Beguile, $15.

Last step? Pucker up!

Rouge d’Armani Lipstick in Pink #506, $30

Gloss d’Armani Lip Gloss #503, $28

My two favorite products were the Tom Ford Illuminating Highlight Pen in Lavender Voile, $52 and Gloss d’Armani Lip Gloss #503, $28. It’s all about Crushes and Blushes this Valentine’s!
