Besides wearing my hair naturally curly, there is one other minor thing that I seriously cannot stand…getting wet! Whether it’s at the beach, terrible weather or that man spraying the sidewalk en route to work…terrified. Why you may ask? Because my very naturally curly hair suddenly appears. And then it’s all down hill from there! But, there is one tragic hair experience I have to share…and it really drove me bananas! All beautified with perfectly coiffed hair, it all started when my friend, Diana, and I were en route to watch my then boyfriend throw his brown pigskin.
Blowout? Check! Self-tanner? Check! Check! Wahoo, we were all set for the Jets game that night and we knew there was a slight chance of rain…so, of course we brought our umbrellas!
Little did we know that umbrellas weren’t allowed inside the Meadowlands stadium. My response: “What.” Running through my mind at that exact moment was, “Omg…my hair!!” Oh yes, we were forced to wear plastic ponchos. But no worries! We had smiles and maintained cheering on the mister despite the rain! Our hair was not as perky, but during the entire game, I kept thinking there had to be a better solution.
