See & Be Seen At The NoMad

The hip and oh so up & coming  historic NoMad neighborhood {North of Madison Square Park} is bordered by the Flatiron District, Chelsea and Gramercy Park, so it’s only fitting that the coolest most swankiest hotel would open right in the heart of it all. Everyone, say bonjour + hola to my newest spot to hang, eat and drink with some class and sass: The NoMad.

The NoMad opened just two months ago and is already receiving rave reviews by Vogue and Conde Nast Traveler {just to name a few!}. Maybe it’s the hip francais-like boutique cornering the outside? Or the fine men who open the front doors for you to make your grand appearance? The dark and mysterious atmosphere once you walk in? Or, my personal favorite, the divine dining experience you encounter under their roof. The NoMad has it all! Literally.

Surrounded by shadowed bookshelves {side note: free alco is hidden in books too!} and seductively killer lighting, I finally plopped down into the comfy velvet chairs of Will Guidara and Daniel Humm’s follow up to Eleven Madison Park, The NoMad. Delighted with an attentive and friendly staff, this southern belle was all smiles!

The staff was incredible, and dressed to the nines might I add! Why? It’s all thanks to one of my favorite menswear clothing lines called Bespoken. Created by the the Fayed and Goncalves brothers, Bespoken designs their hip yet structured looks using luxe European fabrics and expert stitching to appeal to their fashion-forward masculine fans. With The NoMad giving off a cool yet suave vibe to its customers, it was only fitting to have the Bespoken team top off the waiter’s looks with their hip touch!

My foodie favorites of the night at The NoMad?:

salmon {rillettes with sorrel & crème fraîche}

radishes {butter-dipped with fleur de sel}

zucchini bread {with pecorino cheese}

egg {poached with asparagus, quinoa & parmesan}

beets {oven-roasted with fennel, caraway, & pear}

duck {roasted with apples, dandelion & vadouvan}

scallops {seared with sorrel, lemon & maitake mushrooms}

Perfect to meet a future love for a drink, your best friend for a long overdue dinner, or a late night rendezvous with your Romeo on their romantic rooftop, The NoMad has got it all! Plus they’ve got cream of the crop hotel rooms for you to get in a good snooze after all the fun? This is officially the new spot to see and be seen. Hola!
