Timelessly Chic

socialite & lilly pulitzer executive, donald leas and his wife in palm beach, florida 1968

I’ve always looked up to Lilly Pulitzer as a person and as a brand growing up. The vibrant colors, the detailed dresses and the eclectic patterns always caught my eye…not to mention the perfect staples to wear all around down South! So when the company invited a group of bloggers into their Madison Ave store to learn more about their history, and to go out to dinner afterwards with their team, you can imagine how ecstatic and honored I was! It was a Southern Belle’s dream…

I walked into this hot pink store {aka mothership} with all smiles and was welcomed by their friendly team! The Design Director, Janey Schoenborn, and the Social Media Manager, Lindsay Lebresco, showed us around, pointing to their favorite pieces in the collection, and began giving us a presentation on the history of the company, how Lilly Pulitzer grew it, and a video of how the patterns are created. When they turned to us and said “pick out anything!” I just about fell over with excitement.

I found this beautiful white dress {perfect for summer!} and immediately fell in love. But before I left the store for dinner with them, I noticed there were so many other options I wanted! After the late Lilly Pulitzer, this brand has continued to shine and modernized the look of their collections. I picked out four other dresses when I got home that I had fallen head over heels for, and created looks on how you can wear them anywhere this summer! My faves?:

1. kate spade bag 2. pucci towel 3. chanel raquets 4. forever 21 sunglasses 5. lilly “rayray” dress

1. tory burch case 2. aldo pearls 3. tory burch sandals 4. zara bag 5. j.crew bracelet 6. lilly “cassie” dress

1. zara slingbacks 2. j.crew earrings 3. aldo ring 4. h&m bracelet 5. lilly clutch 6. lilly “tylar” dress

1. l.k. bennett pumps 2. forever 21 ring 3. forever 21 bracelet 4. h&m sunglasses 5. kate spade purse 6. lilly “eryn” dress

Best surprise of the night?

Once we settled into our seats at Orsay, the team gave each of us Lilly Pulitzer bags to open. What did I find inside?

The most fabulous portrait of me painted by Lilly Pulitzer’s pattern/print designer! My mouth literally dropped.

The details on the canvas were so precise {even down to where I part my hair!}, and I couldn’t thank them enough! It now sits right on my desk so I can look at it every day!

Lilly Pulitzer is a brand that combines simplicity and lady-like chic, and the best part about purchasing anything with them is that it will forever be a timeless piece!
