After seeing countless articles and live tv segments on the coolest & trendiest foods sure to be the next “craze” about town, I finally made the move down to St. Mark’s Place to see what was so cool about Puddin’. And wooh! This place was worth the sweet surprise.
Located on a quiet yet hip looking street in the East Village, Puddin’ has taken regular Jello or Snack Packs we all grew up with to the next {and gourmet!} level. Created by a fabulous chef named Clio Goodman, Puddin’ opened its doors earlier this year and has since sent everyone bananas with their daily made puddings!
When I visited, AJ, a Puddin’ sales rep showed me around a pointed out his favorite flavors! Between butterscotch to banana puddings to all things rich and divine it was such a hard decision!
AJ even whopped out the coolest pudding popsicle to take my “awe” to the next level! A banana split popsicle? Hola!
After much debate, I settled with the Puddin’ classic, which is a swirl of butterscotch and chocolate puddings with whipped cream layers in between, and from the first bite you better bet I immediately said ” I do”! Whether you’re looking for a trendy dessert to serve at your next dinner party or just a sweet afternoon treat {like me!}, head on over to Puddin’ in the East Village!
