Growing up in a household full of chocolate lovers, I was introduced to L.A. Burdick at a very young age. Honestly, I’m surprised I didn’t grow into a baby chalupa after all of it! But when I went up to Syracuse Univ. for college and away from my family, I always made it a point to stop into L.A. Burdick’s store on weekend extravaganzas to NYC or at their Cambridge location when visiting Boston for a sweet munch {and the best hot chocolate…ever} because it felt incredibly close to home! You’ve also seen in previous B+H posts where I’ve incorporated their sweet mice into my dinner parties to luncheons to even a Royal Tea Party for that delicate touch and the perfect sweet ending. So naturally when I was roaming the web and the city streets for appropriate {and decently priced} Easter gifts for my family, I immediately went to L.A. Burdick. And oh, these fine artisan chocolatiers once again did not let me down! Hola.
