B+H Top Weekend Pick: The Inner Beauty of Hermès

Since 1837, the house of Hermès in Paris has been providing its brand loyal consumers with top of the line {not to mention handmade!} products that will last a lifetime. Known for their signature harnesses, saddlebags, scarves and iconic purses, this company has gone over and beyond to pass down precise techniques and craftsmanship to six generations. But now it’s our time to learn, see and feel the delicate artistic talent that goes into their well-known products!

Hermès is proudly celebrating the perfection and passion of the work of its craftsmen and women with the Festival des Métiers {Festival of Crafts}. It’s a three city celebration visiting New York, Houston and San Francisco from September 5th to October 14th! Hola.

Surrounded by an incredibly chic and modern setting created by internationally acclaimed Milanese designer, Paola Navone, this hands-on public exhibition is one not to miss this weekend {located at 63rd and Park until Sunday}!

Showcasing insight of the lifelong traditions and vales of the house of Hermès, this festival provides a behind the scenes look of the company and honors their highly skilled artisans who master attention to detail in all of their products!

Obsessed with Hermès bags? Come talk to the craftsman behind its beauty! Enjoy flaunting their delicate watches? Come watch the artisan precisely create the masterpiece!

My favorite part? Meeting Kamel Hamadou {Hermès Silk Specialist in Lyon}! Providing inside knowledge of the creation of their scarves, Kamel will show you the various techniques passed from generation to generation!

Kamel pulled me into drape ourselves in Hermès luxurious scarves before I parted to go back over to Fashion Week!

Whether you love wearing the fabulous designs of Hermès or are just interested in learning about the artistic beauty of the company, head on over to the Festival des Métiers this weekend. It truly showcases the inner beauty of Hermès!
